Description
This product accompanies:
Robin, Evans-Romaine, Shatalina & Robin,
Golosa: A Basic Course in Russian, Book 1, 4/E
Features
SAM: contains numbers exercises, phonetics and intonation exercises, oral drills, written exercises, review exercises (previously in the textbook), and video exercises.
Numbers exercises: teach students to understand spoken numbers in context (temperatures, prices, telephone numbers, etc.)
Phonetics and intonation exercises provide the best English-language introduction available for beginners to Russian pronunciation and intonation.
Oral drills provide students with the opportunity to practice concrete grammatical structures and lexical items on their own. They also provide in-class material for teachers to reinforce these items, as a class or for students in small groups.
The written exercises provide students with opportunities to practice new grammatical structures and lexicon in writing. They lead students to longer writing assignments, provided in the Review Exericses.
The video exercises provide unique, authentic interviews with real Russians (not actors reading scripts!) for students to practice comprehension. Exercises are available on the web and in the SAM.
