About the Authors
Patricia J. Fewell
Patricia is Professor and Chair of the Secondary Education and Foundation Department at Eastern Illinois University. She received her Ed.D. in 1988 for Illinois State University. She has been a certified K-12 media specialist; she is currently teaching introductory educational media for pre-service teachers, as well as data management for graduate students. She gives presentations on technology applications in the classroom at state, national and international conferences.
William J. Gibbs
William is an Associate Professor at Duquesne University. In 1992 he received his Ph.D. from Pennsylvania State University in Instructional systems. Dr. Gibbs teaches courses in instructional design, human computer interaction, and multimedia. He has given presentations on topics related to instructional technology at state, national, and international conferences and has published a number of articles in this area.
