• Complete Customizability—MINITAB 14's customizable menus and toolbars allow you to hide features that aren't pertinent to your course; add, delete, or move items in the menus to suit your needs; and create toolbar buttons for your favorite commands. You also can set options such as default colors and symbols for graphs, and save your settings into profiles that can be easily used by all students in a course.

• ReportPad™—You and your students can create a professional report within MINITAB by choosing the results you want to highlight and effortlessly assembling them into a coherent, formatted report. ReportPad also makes it easy to move or copy material to your favorite word processor or the web for further editing and publishing. Plus,it has the ability to save output as HTML for easy viewing on the web.

• The MINITAB Student Software for Windows is an educational version of the Professional version MINITAB Release 14 for Windows. It includes all but a limited number of the features and functions of the Professional version.

• You can have up to 100 graphs open at once (if you have enough memory).

• Basic Statistics on summarized data applies to 1-sample Z, 1-sample t, 2-sample t, Paired t, 1 Proportion, 2 Proportion, 2 Variances. MINITAB 14 lets you compute basic statistics just by entering summarized data, such as sample size, sample mean, and standard deviation.

• Test for equality of 2 variances (F-test and Levene) MINITAB 14 performs the standard F-test for equality of 2 variances. You have the option of using stacked or unstacked data, or simply enter sample sizes and sample variances.
