WORLD OF WORK:

Exploring Work - Beginning self-assessment enables students to visit over 650 different occupations and discover connections between personality/skills and various jobs.

o        Multiple choices provided. 

o        Based on the possibilities, students then take the quiz provided to secure matches.

Workomatic - Intermediate self-assessment that identifies occupations that match goals and abilities.

o        Given the choices, students take the quiz in order to determine their best match. 

o        Ability to sort the list provided by salary, ID number, etc., by using the description icons.

Career Skills - Advanced self-assessment for select 35 work-related skills and find occupational matches. Students rate themselves according to general information, salary, etc., as needed.

Occupation Information - Choose by the name of the job or salary desired.  A great way to determine the most appropriate occupational fit. 

WORLD OF LEARNING:

Programs of Study Information - Choose by degree desired, subject studied, etc.

o        It is suggested to choose a college major for demonstration purposes.  General information, related occupations, colleges that offer this program, etc., are shown.

Exploring Education - Choose a “2-year” program as applicable, as it increases the options available from the 1500 possibilities listed here. 

o        Basically, it finds colleges that match a student’s choices.

College Information - School sort list.

o        Builds a series of the criteria you are searching for in a college environment.  These include such items as:  athletics, expenses-including book cost, student life, number of students, and so on. 

o        Each time a choice is made in one of these areas, “zoom out” to continue building the ideal campus.  A flag denotes the areas already completed.
