Author Bios

Jeff Partyka has been creating his own music almost as long as he's been able to hold a guitar in his hands. He has worked withtechnologies ranging from primitive 4-track cassette "portastudios" tosophisticated digital-recording hardware and software, and most oftenperforms all the instrumental and vocal parts on his recordings. Inaddition to performing in bands in the Boston area, he has been anenthusiastic amateur songwriter and recording artist for more than 20years. Jeff has also worked as a writer and editor of articles aboutCD, DVD and other technology-related subjects for EMedia magazine andthe IDG News Service. He is currently employed as a Microsoft-certifiedsystems administrator and freelance writer near Boston, MA.
